- Report on the Report a bug page, logged in.
- Only the first reporter is rewarded.
- Up to 50,000 NX + 10 VP + a medal.
- Exploiting instead of reporting means a ban.
Found something broken? Report it and get rewarded. Every confirmed bug makes the server better for everyone, and the first player to report it earns a reward.
How to report
- Open Report a bugLog in, then the Report a bug page.
- Pick a category and a guessHow serious you think it is; staff decide.
- Pick the characterRewards are delivered in game to that character.
- Write the stepsWhat you did, what you expected, what happened. Channel, map and time (UTC) if you know them.
- Add a screenshot (optional)Upload to Imgur, Discord or similar first, then paste the link.
You get a report number (for example #42). Keep it: staff use it when they grant your reward. The Report a bug page shows the status of your reports.
You can also use @reportbug <message> in game for quick reports, but the website form is better for anything that needs steps or screenshots, and it is the only private channel for exploits.
Rewards
| Tier | Reward | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Minor | 2,000 NX | Typos, wrong NPC text, visual glitches, a quest that needs @dispose. |
| Moderate | 5,000 NX + 2 VP | A quest, NPC, skill or item that does not work as it should; wrong drops or shop prices. |
| Major | 15,000 NX + 5 VP | Server or channel crashes, lost items, broken PQs or bosses, cheat-detection bypasses. |
| Critical | 50,000 NX + 10 VP + exclusive Bug Hunter medal | Item or meso duplication, free NX or items, account takeover, anything that breaks the economy. |
- First reporter only. If several people report the same bug, the earliest report gets the reward. Later reports are marked as duplicates.
- Staff decide the tier after they reproduce the bug. The examples above are a guide, not a promise.
- Rewards are granted in game by staff (VP are Vote Points). You get them on the character you named in the report.
- Known issues listed in News and reports that are not reproducible are not rewarded.
Exploits: report, don't use
An exploit is a bug that gives an unfair advantage: duplicating items or mesos, free NX, skipping limits, crashing other players.
- Choose the Exploit category. Exploit reports are private: only staff can read them, and they are never shown publicly.
- Try it only as much as needed to describe it. Don't tell anyone else how it works, not even in a private chat.
Using a bug for gain, keeping what it gave you, or spreading how it works is treated as cheating (see the Rules). Items and mesos created by an exploit are removed.
What makes a good report
- One bug per report.
- Exact names: NPC, quest, item, map, skill.
- Steps someone else can follow to see the same thing.
- What you expected versus what happened.
- A screenshot or short video, if you can.
