Entries count per character. Marks go to your account and are capped at 60 a day for all characters together.

Marks only count through the normal entrance.

2. How to get in

Entry, boss by boss

  1. Meet AdobisAt The Door to Zakum, past the El Nath Dead Mine.
  2. Pass his three trialsThe Zakum prequest.
  3. Forge Eyes of Fire30 Zombie's Lost Gold Teeth make 5 Eyes of Fire.
  4. Start the expeditionThe leader needs an Eye of Fire.
  1. Get past the cave guardMoira's Dragon Elixir transformation, or the Certificate of the Dragon Squad.
  2. Clear the Horntail prequestExactly 6 players, level 120+. It ends at the boss entrance.
  3. Join at the Mark of the SquadExpedition of 6-30, level 100+.

Skip the prequest for good: Moira's quest "Badge of a Squad Member" wants 3 Dragon Squad badges plus the Zakum, Papulatus and Pianus certificates. She gives the Certificate of the Dragon Squad, and the Encrypted Slate then takes you straight to the entrance.

Reach the deepest part of the Temple of Time (Twilight of the Gods). The Forgotten Temple Keeper starts the expedition.

Go to the Fantasy Theme Park in Malaysia. Aldol starts the expedition; the leader needs the Spirit of Fantasy Theme Park.

Form a party of 1-6. The party leader walks into the boss portal in the Clocktower's deepest room.

Other bosses, such as the Showa boss, Crimson Balrog and area bosses, have no daily limit and pay no marks. Many of them count toward Hall of Fame medals.

3. Bosses and your build

Zakum's skill booksAdvanced Combo, Advanced Charge, Angel Ray and Triple Throw drop on nearly every kill. Untradeable: be there and loot your own.
Horntail's mastery booksLevel-30 books for a dozen 4th-job skills, plus Maple Warrior 20, on nearly every kill.
Few runs a day1-2 entries per boss, so most of your SP goes to training skills. Boss skills come second.
Get invitedMax your party buff early (Hyper Body, Holy Symbol, Sharp Eyes, Speed Infusion).

4. Raul the Knight's Boss Exchange

Where: Leafre. Any of your characters can spend your account's marks. Weekly limits reset Monday 00:00 UTC.
