Having trouble?
It's a known false positive for private server clients. Our 2009 client is modified to connect to us instead of Nexon, and the optional widescreen mod changes the game while it runs. Antivirus sees "a program patching another program's memory", which is how cheats work too, and flags a generic trojan or hack tool.
- Download only from this page. Never from re-uploads or other sites.
- Where we list a SHA-256, check it in PowerShell:

- Install Visual C++ Redistributable (X86)Microsoft's page. X86 even on 64-bit. Without it: a blank window.
- Copy 2 files into the game folder

Leave the rest of config.ini alone.
Keep ServerIP_Address as in our file. Editing lines that start with ; crashes the game.
- Small maps show black or empty edges at widescreen sizes. The mod can't fix that.
- Login screen and Cash Shop stay 800×600, centred. Some pop-ups sit oddly.
- Sizes other than 1280×720 crash on some PCs. Crashes? Go back to 1280×720.
- No longer developed upstream, so its bugs won't be fixed.
Close the game, then delete dinput8.dll, config.ini, EzorsiaV2_UI.wz and, if present, Data\MapleEzorsiaV2wzfiles.img.
MapleEzorsia v2 is by 444Ro666, free software under the GNU AGPL v3.0. Our download is built unmodified from this exact source (github.com/444Ro666/MapleEzorsia-v2/tree/2769404755baad93655734e76735de141d0b6161).
The zip includes the licence texts (AGPL-3.0; MIT for Microsoft Detours) and BUILD-INFO.txt with the exact commits. Project page on GitHub. The licence covers the mod's code, not the game data it loads.

The browser client is free software under the GNU AGPL v3.0. Here is the source code of the exact version we run. The licence covers the client's code, not the game data.
There's no Mac version.
The Windows game runs through a compatibility layer. Many players do this, but we can't promise it works on your Mac or fully support it.

Set up in 4 steps
- New bottleChoose Windows 10 64-bit.

Having trouble?
Install the Visual C++ Redistributable (X86) inside the bottle.
- Occasional crashes on map changes or in busy areas. Short freezes when effects first load.
- Non-US keyboards may map keys wrongly. Remap them in the game's keyboard settings.
- The widescreen mod may not work in a wrapper. Try without it first.
- Apple Silicon translates twice (Windows→Mac, Intel→ARM): expect lower frame rates.
